Blog 4: Favourite Movie. Waking Life

It has always been hard for me to define a favorite movie of mine or that I like, because it varies a lot over time, but a movie that despite the time I always remember a little bit because of how cryptic it can be and at the same time great is Waking Life. This one is even difficult to define in reality, because it is not a story that is connected and easy to follow, I would even say that it is much more to the interpretation of the viewer and what he/she builds. In theory they are varied fragments of daily conversations of different characters regarding life and dreams mainly, based on many quite philosophical conversations, which manages to elucidate as this journey that makes the protagonist while looking for answers to his dilemma and problem with dreams. It is the truth a difficult film to define, but wonderful and strange, to see more than once to give it a sense, adding to this also that it is made with a drawing technique called Rotoscoping where the animators use to trace over motion picture footage, frame by frame, to produce realistic action.  It is difficult to say much more about this film, because the words to describe it fall short and it is much better the experience of watching it and feeling all the varied emotions and ideas that it produces in you.

Blog 2: The Best Holidays

Oh how to start this, it makes me nostalgic to try to write it, having been locked up for a year and a half, and it makes me sad to remember holidays.

The best holiday for me was going to Neltume, a small village we came to by chance near the Huilo-Huilo Reserve, because the latter was full of tourists and my family and I really hate that. We like a bit of peace and to connect a bit with the place, not with hundreds of people shouting. The point is that with my aunt and uncle and my cousin we stayed there and we did everything I think, we climbed a volcano, we went on a tour and we got to know the place in depth with memorials and stories behind it, and well it's the south, it has all its magic behind it. I think it's the one I remember the most because of how simple and relaxed it was, even though going out with my aunt and uncle always means touring places and trekking all the time, and well this was no exception, but we were amazed with the place.

I looked for pictures and couldn't remember where I saved them, so Saint Google will help!
